Compact flash IDE drives have been around for a while guys, check http://www.dansdata.com/cfide.htm for a review. That page lists this Australian company as a supplier: http://www.flashmemory.com.au/.

You can then find a CF card in whatever size you need, although it's going to be a tradeoff - CF cards are more expensive, but can use a very cheap adapter to run as a drive. SD cards are a lot cheaper, but will no doubt require a more expensive adapter, I mean, you've got to pay for the electronics at some point.
