The secret to regular bowel movements is diet containing high amounts of dietary fibre, or alternatively a regular diet with a fibre supplement.
My favourite way of consuming the dietary fibre is a 100% Bran cereal. I recommend the Vogels brand. It is an Australian company that produces a 100% Bran cereal that also contains Linseed.
Linseed is made up of poly-unsaturated essential fatty acids - these are linoleic acid (Omega 6) and linolenic acid (Omega 3). These essential fats are necessary for the proper function of many organs. As the body does not produce them diet must supply these essential fats.
The main purpose of these essential fats is to supply the body with hormone like substances called prostaglandins and eicosanoids which ensure the proper function of the brain, nervous system and skin.
Being the extraordinary character that I am, I consume supra-normal amounts of dietary fibre.... Which makes me really really full of....
